Veterans Day Slideshow Update
The updated slideshow from McCormick Middle School's Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th is now available to view. The presentation captures our school community coming together to honor and thank the veterans who have served our country.
Students from all three grade levels participated in the assembly, which featured presentations, patriotic music, and opportunities for students to personally thank the veterans in attendance. Many students invited family members, neighbors, and community veterans to join us for this special day.
In preparation for the assembly, 6th-grade Social Studies students learned about the significance of Veterans Day and the important role veterans have played throughout our nation's history. The day also included refreshments of cider and donuts, generously donated by McCormick families.
The slideshow includes additional photos and moments from the assembly that showcase the respect and appreciation our students demonstrated throughout the event.
