McCormick Middle School

1. Today’s lunch is Chicken Sandwich.

2. All academic challenge members should bring their chromebook and required Reading book to practice today.

3. There will be a Student Council meeting on Tuesday during 8th grade lunch. 

4. There will be a Jr. Honor Society meeting Wednesday during 8th grade study hall in Mr. Maleski's room

5. REMINDER:  Only go to the cafeteria in the morning if purchasing breakfast.  ALL others are to go to the auditorium.  No one should be in the halls until the bell rings.

6. The lost and found is located in the front hall by the Auditorium doors. It is filling up.  If you have lost something, please check the lost and found!

7. CHARGED CHROMEBOOKS are to be brought to school everyday.

8. Dress code reminders: The Huron City Schools dress code states that students are NOT to wear - Pajama Pants, Flannel Pants or Spandex Shorts to school. Also shoes must have backs on them - Crocs must be in “sport mode”. 

9. Attention 7th & 8th graders who want to join Power of the Pen:  Please turn in your Commitment Agreement to Mrs. Smith ASAP. The first practice will be this Wednesday, October 1st from 2:30-3:30 in room 108. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Smith. 

10. Parent-teacher conferences are Thursday, October 2, from 3:00pm-7:00pm and on Thursday, October 9, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.  Parents should look for an email link from Mr. Doughty to schedule a conference.

11. McCormick students respect their educational environment. They make sure if they see a mess or trash laying around, they do their part by helping to pick or clean it up. Whether in the cafeteria, restroom, hallway or classroom do your part and help to keep our McCormick home neat and orderly to support our learning environment.
