- Reminder: Lunch money and notes are to be brought to the office during first period.
- The lost and found is located in the front hall by the Auditorium doors. If you have lost something, please check the lost and found!
- McCormick's Junior Honor Society is sponsoring the back-to-school dance today. Tickets will be sold during 7th and 8th-grade lunches today. Tickets are $5. Come celebrate the start of the year by hanging out with your friends and showing off your best dance moves, and wear your brightest neon.
- McCormick Junior Honor Society members: remember to drop off your water and lemonade to Mr. Maleski or Mrs. Rowen this morning.
- Good luck this weekend to the HURON PUBLIC LIBRARY'S BATTLE OF THE BOOKS TEAM. They will compete this weekend for the title of best team in Northeast Ohio.
- When you are given something from someone, never insult that person by making negative comments about the gift or by insinuating that it wasn’t appreciated. No matter how big or small or how valuable the gift is, one should always say thank you and show gratitude.
- Attention all students who plan to attend any home athletic contest or away contest at other Sandusky Bay Conference schools. We would like to remind you of our expectations for you regarding your behavior while at the contest, supporting our athletes.
All students are required to follow the expectations that are in the student handbook.
All students who are in attendance need to be in their seats while the game is in progress. Students are reminded that at all football games, whether home or away, they are to be in the bleachers within the first minute of the game, and remain in the bleachers until one minute before halftime. Following halftime, all students must be back in the bleachers within the first minute of the second half and remain there until the end of the game.
* Profanity, taunting, trash talking, or heckling of players or other spectators will result in immediate removal from the game, and disciplinary actions will be taken.
* Students are not permitted to bring skateboards, footballs, or other toys into the stadium on game nights.
* Students who are not sitting with their parents must sit in the student section of the bleachers.
Students who fail to follow these rules could be subject to removal from the contest. Students are reminded that when attending contests or activities, it is a school-sponsored activity and you are representing Huron City Schools.
