Students in grades 3–8 at Huron City Schools participate in Ohio’s State Achievement Tests each spring. These assessments measure student progress in core subjects and help ensure every learner is meeting grade-level expectations aligned with Ohio’s Learning Standards. Below, you’ll find important information about test dates, preparation tools, and how to interpret your child’s results.

All assessments will take place during the first 2–3 hours of the school day:

• April  – Grade 7 ELA, Part 1

• April  – Grade 7 ELA, Part 2

• April  – Grade 8 ELA, Part 1

• April  – Grade 8 ELA, Part 2

• April – Math 7 & Math 8, Part 1

• April  – Math 7 & Math 8, Part 2

• April  – 8th Grade Science, Parts 1 & 2

• May  – Algebra, Part 1

• May  – Algebra, Part 2

• May  – Geometry (at Huron High School)

Parents: Please avoid scheduling appointments during these testing dates to ensure your child is present and prepared.
